Sharon Gurr
Dip. Integrative Counselling & Psychodynamic
MBACP (Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists)

I am a qualified integrative counsellor and psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals facing life’s challenges. My expertise lies in helping people find their path, gain clarity about who they are, and determine where they want to go. I specialize in guiding clients toward closure on the past, enabling them to move forward and create a brighter future.

Warm, caring, and creative, I offer a safe space for reflection and exploration, as well as a nurturing environment for growth and learning. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Attachment Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy, Transactional Analysis, and Psychodynamic Therapy. Additionally, I incorporate creative techniques such as working with the Inner Child to address the parts of ourselves we may struggle with, helping manage overwhelming emotions and thoughts.

I have successfully worked with clients facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship and family issues, grief& loss, trauma, adverse childhood experiences, parenting difficulties, career struggles, Addictions & Compulsive Behaviours, confidence & self-esteem issues and more.

As a passionate advocate for self-efficacy, I believe that no one knows us better than we know ourselves. Yet, we all benefit from guidance along the way to help navigate life’s complexities and unlock our full potential. Much like a sunflower needs sunlight to grow, we all need a little direction to flourish.

If you’re ready for change and personal growth, take the first step and reach out. Together, we can embark on this transformative journey.
